SRP: Staten Israel og Israel-Palæstina Konflikten i Samf A og Historie A

This paper investigates the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. At the end of my study, I hope to answer on, why the problem hasn’t been solved yet. To answer the question, I have to acquire knowledge on a statement level, which I can use to analyze the central factors in the progress. At the end, I can use my knowledge, to give a professional evaluation of, why the conflict isn’t over yet. As methodology in the project, I have used social studies and history, like theories and academic experts, which help me, to support my observations. To answer the main question, I have used many sources, which gives my knowledge to answer professionally on the paper.

The result shows, that there are many factors and players, who have influence on the conflict. On the local level, there are Hamas and the Likud-party, which are organizations, which main goal is to stop the peace process. On a global level, USA is a mediator for the conflict. But USA doesn’t press Israel enough, plus involve UN or EU enough in the process.

The closest we are on a solution, is the Oslo-arrangements. But the result is ruined, because of the lack of UN-troops after the arrangement, which goal was to maintain the positivity among the two sides. To solve the conflict, there has to be an agreement among the two sides. Moreover USA has to press Israel, plus involve more players.
